§ 8-3434 — Computation of amounts deductible

After the time mentioned in § 8-3452, in determining the amount earned by a member in a payroll period the board may consider the rate of compensation payable to such member on the first day of the payroll period as continuing throughout such payroll period and it may omit deduction from compensation for any period less than a full payroll period if an employee was not a member on the first day of the payroll period. Until such time as this section becomes effective as provided in § 8-3452, § 8-3434 of the Tennessee Code as enacted by chapter 6 of the Public Acts of 1955, prior to amendment, shall remain in full force and effect.
