Text
The state treasurer shall be chairman of the board. The board shall elect one of its members as vice-chairman. The board shall appoint an executive secretary, who shall be the secretary and administrative officer of the board; shall appoint such other employees as it deems necessary and, with the approval of the governor, fix the compensation of all employees; shall require such employees as it thinks proper to execute bonds for the faithful performance of their duties, paying the cost of such bonds from the expense funds under control of said board; and shall do all things, take all actions and make all rules and regulations, not inconsistent with the provisions of chapters 34 to 36, inclusive, of this title, that it deems necessary or proper in order to carry out the provisions of said c
