Text
Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, the retirement allowance of any member who retires under a superseded system shall not be increased by any future increase in salary, base compensation, or other increases in compensation as allowed for the position from which the member retires. This section shall not be construed to prevent any increase in such retirement allowance when such increase is in accordance with § 8-36-701 .
