Text
Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, any prior class member of a superseded system who meets the applicable service requirements for an ordinary or an accidental disability retirement in such member's superseded retirement system shall not be retired on disability, unless the member is disabled from gainful employment in accordance with chapter 36, part 5 of this title. These members shall continue to be covered by the applicable benefit provisions of their superseded systems.
