(a)Commissioners to make partition of land, and for other similar services, when no compensation is fixed by law, are entitled to demand and receive:
(1)For each day's actual service in partitioning land and in performing other services .................... $1.00 (2) For every mile of necessary travel .................... $0.05 (b) It is lawful for all courts appointing commissioners to make partition of land and for other similar services to allow, in addition to the above fees, such additional compensation as the services of such commissioners may be reasonably worth.
