Text
(a)The regional council is composed of and governed by the following:
(1)The county mayor or county executive of each county within the region;
(2)The mayor of each municipality within the region;
(3)The chief elected official of any metropolitan government within the region;
(4)One (1) representative from an agency or organization involved with issues of economic development appointed by the county mayor, county executive, or metropolitan mayor from each of the regional council's member counties;
(5)One (1) member of the senate, selected from and by those senators whose districts are wholly or in part within the region;
(6)One (1) member of the house of representatives, selected from and by those representatives whose districts are wholly or in part within the region; and (7) One (
