Text

The organization of the authority shall be as follows:

(1)The authority shall be governed by a board of directors;
(2)Membership of the board of directors shall consist of:
(A)The county mayor of each county becoming a member of the authority, in accordance with § 64-2-202 ;
(B)The mayor of each city becoming a member of the authority, in accordance with § 64-2-202 ; and (C) A county mayor of a county that is a member of the authority may select and appoint one (1) additional member, and a city mayor of a city that is a member of the authority may select and appoint one (1) additional member. The term of each selected and appointed member must be prescribed by the county or city mayor making the appointment. A mayor has the right to terminate the term of a member appointed by the mayor
