§ 64-10-121 — No restriction or limitation on powers of county, city or utility district - Powers cumulative and supplemental
Tennessee·Title 64
Nothing contained in this part shall be construed as a restriction or a limitation upon any powers that a county, city or utility district might otherwise have under any laws of this state, but shall be construed as cumulative of and supplemental to any such powers. No proceedings, notice or approval shall be required with respect to the issuance of bonds, notes or other obligations of the authority or any instrument as security for the bonds, notes or other obligations except as provided in this part, any law to the contrary notwithstanding; provided, that nothing in this section shall be construed to deprive the state and its governmental subdivisions of their respective police powers or to impair any power of any official or agency of the state and its governmental subdivisions that may
