Text
(a)The county election commission shall use such methods authorized by title 2 as it judges necessary to facilitate registration before the election.
(b)All registered voters of the city or of the territory of the proposed city are eligible to vote in the election.
(c)The county election commission shall determine and declare the results of the election and shall certify the results within forty-eight (48) hours after it completes its duties under § 2-8-105(3) . It shall publish the certificate in a newspaper of general circulation in the city or territory and, if the city is already incorporated, shall file the certificate with the city council or other legislative body of the city at its first meeting after the certification.
