Pursuant to terms and conditions of this compact, Tennessee seeks to join with other states and establish the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact, and thus become a member of the interstate insurance product regulation commission. The commissioner of commerce and insurance is designated to serve as the representative of this state to the commission. Therefore, the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact is enacted and entered into with all other jurisdictions legally joining it in the form substantially as follows: Article I. Purposes.
