§ 56-35-101 — Short title - Application - Scope

(a)This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the "Title Insurance Law." (b) All title insurance companies, title insurance agents and the business of title insurance in this state shall be regulated, licensed and controlled by and under this chapter to the exclusion of all other laws and parts of laws of a general nature not specifically applicable.
