Text
(a)Policyholders, as defined in § 56-18-105 , shall be notified of the annual meetings or elections:
(1)By written notice;
(2)By an imprint upon the filing backs of their policies;
(3)In case of policies on which the premiums are payable monthly or more often, on some other prominent place of each policy; or (4) Upon receipts or certificates of renewal.
(b)The annual meetings or elections shall be held and conducted in accordance with rules prescribed in the bylaws of the corporation adopted by its board of directors and approved by the commissioner.
(c)Policyholders may vote in person, or by proxies dated and executed within three (3) months of, and returned and recorded on the books of the company thirty (30) days or more before, the meeting at which they are to be used. No person
