Text
It is the intent of the general assembly to:
(1)Develop a permanent roadside landscaping program within the department of transportation with emphasis on wildflower preservation and propagation;
(2)Beautify the state's roadways and enhance the aesthetics of the state's highway system while reducing maintenance costs; and (3) Make the public more aware of the state's landscape diversity and improve environmental quality along the roadways.
