Text
It is the purpose of this chapter to ensure that foods offered for public consumption in this state are safe as prepared, processed, served, packaged, and delivered. Food service establishments that are located within retail food stores are subject to this chapter and exempt from regulation in accordance with the Tennessee Food Safety Act, compiled in title 68, chapter 14, part 7.
