§ 53-7-210 — Violations - Injunctive action

(a)Any violation of §§ 53-7-206 - 53-7-209, or of the rules and regulations duly promulgated by the commissioner pursuant to this part is a Class C misdemeanor; provided, that no carrier or warehouseman shall be subject to the penalties of this part, other than the penalties for violation of § 53-7-208 , by reason of the receipt, carriage, holding, or delivery, in the usual course of business, as a carrier or warehouseman, of livestock or poultry carcasses, parts of livestock or poultry carcasses, meat food products, or poultry products, owned by another person, unless the carrier or warehouseman has knowledge, or is in possession of facts that would cause a reasonable person to believe that the articles were not inspected or marked in accordance with this part or were not otherwise in co
