(a)No G&T cooperative shall provide electrical power and energy services to retail customers in the Tennessee Valley authority (TVA) area.
(b)No G&T cooperative shall provide telephony, cable television, video programming, internet access or other telecommunications services to retail customers in the TVA area; provided, however, that nothing in this section shall preclude or prevent a G&T cooperative from owning, leasing, operating and maintaining equipment or facilities for its own purposes or for the purpose of enabling one (1) or more members to provide or utilize advance metering infrastructure, load control, appliance monitoring, power exchange, billing, electric services or functions or any other similar or component service now or hereafter developed in connection with the provis
