(a)Notwithstanding any other provision of this chapter or other laws of this state, the bylaws may provide that a G&T cooperative may elect its directors on an at-large basis or by districts or divisions, or by a combination of some number of directors to be elected at-large and some number by districts or divisions, all as the bylaws shall provide.
(b)The composition of districts or divisions shall have an equitable regard for the aggregate number of end-users of the electrical power and energy served by all of the patron members in such district or division, and the amount of electrical power and energy consumed by the end-users served by each of the patron members, other communities of interest and any boundaries or other aggregations of patron members into districts or divisions.
