Upon the issuance of a declaration of a statewide opioid settlement agreement release by the attorney general and reporter pursuant to § 20-13-203 , a governmental entity shall not have the authority to assert, bring, or attempt to enforce a released claim against a released entity in any legal proceeding. Any pending or future litigation brought by a governmental entity asserting released claims against released entities shall be dismissed with prejudice. Copies of declarations of a statewide opioid settlement agreement release must be kept on the website of the attorney general.
