Text

(a)Funds available from the criminal injuries compensation fund, created under § 40-24-107 , shall be expended to effectuate this chapter, including all expenses to administer this chapter.
(b)Use of available federal funds shall be specifically permitted to fund this program. In the event federal funds are made available to the state, the division of claims and risk management is hereby authorized to comply with any additional requirements imposed by the federal government so long as compliance with such provisions is not prohibited by, or contrary to, this chapter.
(c)The treasurer is authorized to award an annual grant to the district attorneys general conference for domestic violence and drug enforcement program operations in an amount not to exceed that specified in the general app
