Text

In the temporary absence or temporary incapacitation of the mayor, the president of the council shall serve as the mayor pro tempore, as provided in § 9-8-13 , until the temporary absence or temporary incapacitation ends. In the temporary absence or disability of the mayor and president of the council, the vice president of the council shall serve as the mayor pro tempore until the temporary absence or temporary incapacitation ends.
