Text
When any bid is accepted, the governing body shall direct a contract to be entered into with the successful bidder. When the improvement is to be paid for by special assessment certificates, such contract shall provide that the contractor shall receive in payment such certificates at their face value bearing interest at the rate specified in the notice for bids, to be issued as provided in this title.
