A video lottery machine manufacturer may not be licensed as a video lottery machine operator or own, manage, or control a licensed establishment. A video lottery machine distributor may not be licensed as a video lottery machine operator or own, manage, or control a licensed establishment. A video lottery machine operator may not be licensed as a video lottery machine manufacturer or distributor. An owner or manager of a licensed establishment may not be licensed as a video lottery machine manufacturer or distributor. Nothing in this section restricts an owner or manager of a licensed establishment from owning video lottery machines licensed under § 42-7A-41 and placing such machines on the premises, provided they meet the same requirements of video machine operators.
