Text
Every state depository at the end of each month and oftener when required by the state treasurer, shall file with the state treasurer a sworn statement of the amount of state money deposited with it, and of all payments of state money during the month, together with a computation and statement of the amount of interest earned thereon, computed on the average daily balance, which interest shall be remitted to the state treasury at the end of each month. Such statement shall be accompanied by an affidavit of the president or cashier of such depository bank to the effect that it is in all respects true and correct, and that neither the depository nor any officer, agent, or employee thereof, nor any person on its behalf, has in any way given, paid, or rendered, or promised to give, pay, or ren
