The investigation required in § 34-21-50 shall ascertain whether the applicant or any subsidiary, parent company, officer, or member of the applicant's board of directors has, during the previous ten years:

(1)Been convicted of or pled guilty to any violation of federal or state law pertaining to the transportation, storage, treatment, or disposal of low - level radioactive waste or hazardous waste; or (2) Violated the conditions of any permit granted by a state or federal agency for the transportation, storage, treatment, or disposal of low - level radioactive waste or hazardous waste.
