§ 34-20B-18 — Criteria for inclusion of substances in Schedule III.

South Dakota·Title 34 PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY·Ch. 34-20 DRUGS AND SUBSTANCES CONTROL

To be included within Schedule III, a substance shall have:

(1)A potential for abuse less than the substances listed in Schedules I and II;
(2)Well documented and approved medical use in the United States; and (3) Abuse which may lead to moderate or low physical dependence or high psychological dependence.
