§ 34-20A-100 — First responder defined.

South Dakota·Title 34 PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY·Ch. 34-20 TREATMENT AND PREVENTION OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG ABUSE

For the purposes of §§ 34-20A-98 to 34-20A-103 , inclusive, "first responder" means:

(1)A law enforcement officer as defined by § 22-1-2 ;
(2)An individual responding to an emergency call as part of an ambulance service licensed pursuant to chapter 34-11 ; or (3) A firefighter.
