§ 34-12-19 — Grounds for suspension or revocation of license.

South Dakota·Title 34 PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY·Ch. 34-11B REGULATION OF HOSPITALS AND RELATED INSTITUTIONS

The State Department of Health may suspend or revoke a license issued under this chapter on any of the following grounds:

(1)Violation of any of the provisions of this chapter or the rules issued pursuant thereto;
(2)Permitting, aiding, or abetting the commission of any unlawful act in such institution;
(3)Conduct of practices detrimental to the welfare of the patient; and (4) Failure to allow department inspections, including inspections authorized under § 34-12-16 , complaint inspections and necessary follow - up inspections.
