(1)The officer shall prepare an electronic copy of the deposition transcript, including any changes as provided in § 15-6-30(e), and shall certify on the deposition that the witness was duly sworn by the officer and that the deposition is a true record of the testimony given by the witness. This certificate must be in writing and accompany the record of the deposition. The officer shall promptly send the certified electronic original of the deposition to the attorney who arranged for the transcript or recording who must store it for filing purposes if necessary.
