§ 30-9-80 — Fees for indexing or notation.

South Carolina·Title 30 PUBLIC RECORDS·Ch. 9 INDEXING AND FILING
For any indexing or notation under SECTION 30-9-50 or 30-9-60 the clerk or register shall charge a fee of twenty-five cents for each paper indexed in the office of the clerk of court or register of deeds and the judge of probate shall charge a fee of twenty-five cents for each indexing in accordance with the provisions of said sections.

HISTORY: 1962 Code SECTION 60-160; 1952 Code SECTION 60-160; 1948 (45) 1971. Code Commissioner's Note 1997 Act No. 34, SECTION 1, directed the Code Commissioner to change all references to "Register of Mesne Conveyances" to "Register of Deeds" wherever appearing in the 1976 Code of Laws.
