Text

It is the responsibility of the promoter or the promoter's representative to ensure compliance with the following requirements:

(1)The ringside physician shall physically examine each contestant in a boxing event or exhibition not less than twenty-four hours before the event or exhibition and document the results of the examination on a form provided by the commission which must be filed with the commission. The ringside physician must be provided with the current Association of Boxing Commissions' Ringside Physicians Manual and shall follow its guidelines at the event or exhibition. The documentation shall indicate that the contestant is eligible to compete or participate. The ringside physician may examine a contestant at any time he feels it necessary and may direct the referee to halt
