§ 44-7-540 — Publish; notice of receipt of application.
Upon receipt of an application, the department shall publish in the State Register notice of receipt of the application. The department shall review the application in accordance with the standards set forth in Section 44-7-560 and if requested by an affected person within thirty days of the department's receipt of a completed application, may hold a public hearing in accordance with regulations promulgated by the department. Within thirty days of receipt of the application, the department may request additional information as may be necessary to complete the application. The applicant has thirty days from the date of the request to submit the additional information.
