Text

(A)The board may issue a temporary license to practice veterinary medicine or veterinary technology to an applicant if the applicant has satisfied:
(1)the qualifications and requirements of Section 40-69-220 or Section 40-69-230, as applicable;
(2)filed an application, including any other required documentation, to take the examination;
(3)paid a temporary license fee which must be set by the board in regulation, in addition to the examination fee; and (4) has been granted a degree from an accredited veterinary college or degree in veterinary technology.
(B)A temporary license entitles the holder to practice only until the board has acted upon the application for a permanent license after the applicant successfully completes the next regularly scheduled examination. A temporary licens
