Text
The Commission shall consist of one member each from the Counties of Edgefield, McCormick, Newberry and Saluda, two members from Abbeville and Laurens Counties and four members from Greenwood County. Each member shall be appointed by the Governor upon the recommendation of a majority of the resident members of the legislative delegation of his county. Upon the expiration of the terms of office of those first appointed, successors shall be appointed for terms of four years and until their successors are appointed and qualify. Any vacancy shall be filled for the balance of the unexpired term in the same manner as the original appointment.
