Text

A person who receives Atlantic sturgeon or any part or product thereof other than at retail or for consumption must maintain records for a period of no less than one year. Records must include:

(1)the number and weight of sturgeon received;
(2)the type and amount of part or product received;
(3)the names and addresses of persons from whom received; and (4) the names and addresses of persons to whom sold at wholesale. A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not less than two hundred dollars nor more than one thousand dollars or imprisoned for not more than thirty days and the person's or entity's privilege to hold the wholesale seafood dealer license must be suspended for six months.
