§ 33-46-230 — Articles of incorporation.

South Carolina·Title 33 CORPORATIONS, PARTNERSHIPS AND ASSOCIATIONS·Ch. 46 TELEPHONE COOPERATIVE ACT

The articles of incorporation shall recite in the caption that they are executed pursuant to this chapter, must be signed and acknowledged by each of the incorporators, and shall state:

(1)the name of the telephone cooperative;
(2)the address of its principal office;
(3)the name and address of the incorporators;
(4)the name and address of the persons who shall constitute its first board of directors; and (5) any provisions not inconsistent with this chapter considered necessary or advisable for the conduct of its business and affairs. Such articles of incorporation must be submitted to the Secretary of State for filing as provided in this chapter. It is not necessary to set forth in the articles of incorporation of a telephone cooperative the purpose for which it is organized or any of
