§ 41-30-510 — Responsibilities of Coordinating Council for Workforce Development.
South Carolina·Title 41 LABOR AND EMPLOYMENT·Ch. 30 EMPLOYMENT AND WORKFORCE - WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
The Coordinating Council for Workforce Development is reconstituted and generally is responsible for:
(1)engaging in discussions, collaboration, and information sharing concerning the ability of the State to prepare and train workers to meet current and future workforce needs; and (2) performing the other required duties of this chapter under the direction of the Chairman of the CCWD.

Code Commissioner's Note At the direction of the Code Commissioner in 2016, in (A), "Coordinating Council for Workforce Development" was substituted for "Coordinating Council of Workforce Development" to correct a typographical error. Editor's Note 2023 Act No. 67, SECTION 1, provides as follows: "SECTION 1. This act may be cited as the 'Statewide Education and Workforce Development Act'." Effect of Amendment 2022 Act No. 194, SECTION 1, rewrote the section. 2023 Act No. 67, SECTION 2, rewrote the section.
