Text

The library of the Supreme Court shall be in the custody and care of the clerk of the court, who shall annually, with the consent and approval of the court, employ some suitable person, as a departmental clerk, to care for and attend in the library and perform such duties with reference thereto as may be prescribed by the court. The librarian so employed may be discharged by order of the court at any time and shall receive such compensation as may be provided by law. Any woman who has attained the age of twenty-one years and has been a resident of this State for two years may be employed as such librarian.
