Text
All members of the board of visitors, administrative staff and faculty personnel of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, shall be eligible to be commissioned officers in the unorganized militia of South Carolina and the Governor shall issue commissions to such of them as are designated by the college according to the rank prescribed by that institution. These commissions shall be prepared by the Adjutant General and shall bear the signatures of the Adjutant General and the Governor with the seal of the State and shall not entitle any person holding them to any pay or emolument by reason thereof unless he be assigned to duty with the National Guard of South Carolina by order of the Governor.
