Text

The powers conferred by this chapter on counties and townships may be exercised by resolution of the governing body of the county or the governing body of the county in which the township is situate. Such resolution may be adopted in accordance with the required or customary procedure of such body and may be amended by like resolution so adopted and no such resolution shall be subject to the provisions of any law relating to the adoption of ordinances by cities nor shall any resolution require the use of general funds or the levy of taxes for any of the purposes of this chapter. Such ordinances and resolutions of counties shall be recorded in the minutes of the governing body thereof as soon as practicable after their passage and shall be authenticated by the signature of the clerk of such
