Contracts made pursuant to this chapter may provide that the funds required for sewer facilities be furnished by each of the contracting parties or by one or more of them, or may further provide that any one or more of the contracting parties shall furnish funds therefor at stated intervals. Any and all bonds issued by any contracting party pursuant to such contract shall be issued for a corporate purpose of such issuer for which both general obligation and revenue bonds may be issued. Such contracts may provide that each contracting party shall pay a portion of the cost of operating and maintaining such sewer facilities and shall either provide that each contracting party shall pay a specified percentage of such operation and maintenance, or shall provide that the use of the sewer facilit
