Text

No member of the park and recreation board of any such municipality, and no person who has been a member of such board within six months from the time of making of any contract in behalf of the municipality by or through the agency of such board, shall be directly or indirectly pecuniarily interested in any contract or in the profits of any contract made through the agency of such board. Any and all contracts made in violation of this provision are and shall be held to be against public policy and void, except that such contract may be enforced by such municipality, and no such contract at the instance of the contractor or any person claiming under or through the contractor shall be enforced by any court, nor shall any contractor or person claiming under or through such contractor recover
