Text

The following facilities shall continue in existence and shall be maintained for the following purposes:

(1)those inpatient facilities as authorized by the Office of Mental Health, a component office of the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and funded by legislative appropriations, including facilities for the evaluation and treatment of mentally ill persons, facilities for the evaluation and treatment of chemically dependent persons, and long-term care facilities; and (2) the mental health clinics for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental illness.
