To offset the costs incurred by the State in the review and processing of proposals by the governing bodies of counties and municipalities for the issuance or refunding of industrial, hospital, or pollution control revenue bonds or notes, the State Fiscal Accountability Authority may charge a single fee to cover initial processing including any amendments in accord with the following schedule: Issue or Refunding Amount Fee $1,000,000 or less $ 2,000 $1,000,001 through $25,000,000 3,000 $25,000,001 through $50,000,000 4,000 Over $50,000,000 5,000 The revenue received from these fees must be deposited in the General Fund.

Code Commissioner's Note At the direction of the Code Commissioner, references in this section to the offices of the former State Budget and Control Board, Office of the Governor, or other agencies, were changed to reflect the transfer of them to the Department of Administration or other entities, pursuant to the directive of the South Carolina Restructuring Act, 2014 Act No. 121, SECTION 5(D)(1), effective July 1, 2015.
