South Carolina's participation in the compact does not include the administration of Medicare (42 U.S.C. 1395, et seq.) or the Children's Health Insurance Program unless the General Assembly takes action that specifically authorizes inclusion of the Medicare program or the Children's Health Insurance Program in the compact.
