Text

All bills, claims and demands against the military fund shall be certified or verified in the manner prescribed by regulations promulgated by the Governor and shall be audited by the proper board of military auditors and, if allowed, shall be paid by the State Treasurer upon the warrant of the Adjutant and Inspector General from the military fund. But when the National Guard or any part thereof, or any other law-enforcement agency of the State government, is called into the service of the State in case of war, riot, insurrection, invasion, breach of the peace or in aid of the civil authorities, warrants for allowed pay and expenses for such service shall be drawn upon the general fund of the State Treasury and paid out of any moneys in such fund not otherwise appropriated.
