§ 9-29-15. Indorsement of fees on process.
Every officer who shall serve any process, civil or criminal, shall indorse thereon
            the several items which constitute the amount of his or her fees, and on failure thereof
            the fees shall not be taxed or allowed in any bill of costs, nor be recoverable by
            law.
