§ 8-8.3-10. Penalties.
(a) Any violation of any extreme risk protection order shall subject the violator to being
            found in contempt of court. The contempt order shall not be exclusive and shall not
            preclude any other available civil or criminal remedies.
         
(b) Any violation of an extreme risk protection order issued under this chapter of which
            the respondent has actual notice shall be a felony and, upon conviction, shall be
            punished by imprisonment for not more than ten (10) years, or a fine of not more than
            ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or both.

(c) Filing a petition or providing information pursuant to this chapter knowing the information in or for such petition to be materially false, or with intent to harass the respondent, shall be a felony that shall be punished by imprisonment for not more than five (5) years, or a fine of not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000), or both.
