§ 6-49-6. Severability.
If any of the provisions of this chapter, or the application of any provision to any
            person or circumstance, shall be held invalid, the remainder of this chapter, or the
            application of the provisions to persons or circumstances other than those to which
            it is held invalid, shall not be affected thereby.
