§ 40-8.2-11. Barring or suspending participation in program.

Whenever a provider is sentenced or placed on probation for an offense under this chapter, the trial judge may, in his or her discretion, order that the provider be permanently barred from further participation in the program; that the provider's participation in the program be suspended for a definite period of time not exceeding two (2) years; or that the provider conform to applicable federal regulations.
