§ 40-7-3. Authority of governor to effectuate entry into compact.
The governor on behalf of the state is authorized and directed to execute any formal
            documents necessary to effectuate the entry of this state into the New England Welfare
            Compact with any one or more of the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire,
            and Vermont in substantially the form provided in this chapter.
